In the Mixer view you adjust audio parameters of your tracks (volume and pan), mute tracks or solo (mute all other tracks) a track. You also use mixer to set the instrument for track and adjust track settings.
Track instrument view
There are three types of instruments available:
- Internal synth instruments.
- MIDI instruments. Allow you to send MIDI notes to CoreMIDI compatible apps.
- Audio Unit Extension instruments. Allow you to plug in AUv3 instruments.
Depending on the selected instrument type and track type there could be different set of settings inside the track settings view.
Internal synth track settings
Melody and arpeggio tracks assigned to internal synth instruments have one param, octave transposition. It allows you to lower or rise the notes played by the corresponding track.
MIDI instrument track settings
Track assigned to a MIDI instrument in addition to the transposition settings have the MIDI channel setting.
Audio Unit Extension Instrument settings
After you have assigned a track to an Audio Unit Extension instrument, you will see addition button in the mixer view. Tap this button to open the Audio Unit interface.
